Council needs to put more emphasis on the city’s financial plan to better align expansion of city services with community growth.

Our community is starting to feel the pressure that rapid growth creates for expanded city infrastructure particularly on our roads.
Planning for every neighbourhood
It’s time to start focusing Colwood’s planning on our established neighbourhoods like Wishart, Triangle Mountain and Hatley Park.
Doing a better job of listening to residents’ priorities and concerns before making decisions
I believe we should encourage more and earlier community input to guide Council decisions.
Meet Deborah
Deborah grew up in Colwood and returned twice — once to raise her family, and again to retire in Royal Bay. She is a CPA, CA with over 25 years experience performing financial audits in the BC public sector. Newly retired, she is ready to put her financial experience to use for the taxpayers of Colwood.
